Α Retrospective Exhibition of Costas Economou organized by The Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts (E.KA.TE).

Costas Economou was born in Kissonerga in 1925. He received his first art lessons at the Morphou College (1943-1945) under the tuition of the teacher A Diamanti. He continued his studies at King Alfred’s College (1956-57) in Winchester, England, where he studied art and pedagogy in the Art Department of the Institute of Education of the University of London (1972-73). At the same time he attended painting lessons at Saint Martin’s School of Art in London.

The exhibition opens on Friday 12th of April at 7.30pm.

At the opening there will be the screening of the documentary film "Cementography " Produced and directed by Nicolas Iordanou and Sylvia Nicolaidou.
