Description

From Monday, 8th April 2013 7.00 pm onwards Goethe-Institut Cyprus Gallery will be hosting a photographic exhibition and book presentation entitled ‘Aphrodite.Lovestoned’ by German journalist and photo artist Anna Würth.

On until April 12th (open daily from 10 am to 7 pm), the exhibition showcases original photographs from the book which were taken in the Akamas Peninsula near the Bath of Aphrodite. In this book Würth has set the photographic cycle together with contemporary verse, a selection of her poetry from the past decades. Poems and photographs stand on their own and are neither illustration nor interpretation.

During the vernissage of this exhibition on Monday evening there will also be a poetry reading by the artist in English and German.
