Description
The group “Earth Art” of the Art Studio of Nicholas Panayi in association with the Embassy of Greece invites you to the fine art exhibition “Pathways in Blue” at the Famagusta Gate Cultural Centre.
The Art studio Nicholas Panayi as part of its educational programs, organizes each year trips to different parts of the world in search of the art and culture that identify the peoples they visit.
Experiences with the local artists, museums and galleries, fine art schools and other art organizations, sketches, photographs and many more constitute strong stimuli for creating.
After each trip participants work hard to produce art work that each year is presented in the form of an exhibition were the viewer gets a taste of the culture of the place visited.
Some of the destinations so far are the Czech Republic, the UK, France, Holland, Portugal, Russia, Greece, USA and Cuba.
In the summer of 2012 the group Earth Art toured the islands of Hydra, Tinos and mainland Athens and Piraeus.
It is our honor to cooperate this time with the Embassy of Greece in Cyprus presenting a fine art event that reflects the colors and culture of Greece through experiences captured in the different art works of the Earth Art group of the Nicholas Panayi art studio.
The event takes the form of a painting exhibition with at least 60 works of different dimensions, a survey regarding the windmills of Tinos and selected photographs of the Ambassador of Greece to Cyprus Mr. Vassilis Papaioannou who will also open the exhibition.
