Description

Savvinos Paraskeva presents his first solo exhibition of paintings with titled: “Coloureceivers” at Gallery Kypriaki Gonia in Larnaca from 23 March to 12 April 2013.

The inauguration will be performed by the Mayor of Larnaca, Mr. Andreas Louroudjiatis on Saturday, 23 March at 7.30 p.m.


Savvinos Paraskeva: Artist

Born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1977. I've studied Fine arts in Boston, MA for five years interrelated media.

When i came back to Cyprus in 2003, I’ve opened my owned studio/gallery named "Afydatwn" witch is located in Larnaka next to the Town Hall. Inside the gallery you can see a variety of my work. From contemporary life size figures to abstract paintings, street art, etc. Graffiti also is one of my interests. I m organizing every year a Graffiti jam "Larnacan" with famous international and local artists/crews of this kind, in different locations in the city.

On March 23rd you are invited to my first solo-retrospective exhibition at the Kypriaki Gonia gallery in Larnaka. The title of this event is "Colourecievers" 2003 - 2013. In this exhibition I'm presenting my latest art, combining found objects (trash art) transforming them into a new form of sculpture. My goal is to expand my artwork to the international contemporary field.
