The Greek band "The Burger Project" return to Larnaca to perform live at Ammos Beach Bar on the 1st of February.

The Burger Project Bio:
The band started performing in November 2007. Their first mission was to create a party atmosphere on Monday nights in a restaurant bar in the center of Athens. The word was spread and their steady gig became a must for all music lovers that wanted to experience something new. The Burger Project can be described in a few words as a cover band with a "twist". Disco anthems, punk rock classics, pop standards, even some well known songs from the greek repertoire compose their setlist. Songs that everyone pretty much knows are transformed in a delicate manner from these innovative entertainers.

The title of their first CD, We live in Athens , resealed in 2009 , was a humorous political statement for their hometown. On the CD cover the band chose to satirise four figures of the greek society: a nationalist, a priest, a politician, and an S&M enthusiast, bringing up the issue of corruption long before the Greek political crisis.
By using their tour de force, which is live performance, the band has conquered small clubs, big venues, festival stages all over Greece, building a wider audience without failing to accomplish their original mission. After two very successful tours in Germany, with three sold-out shows in Berlin as a highlight, and also two ravishing club dates in London's Notting Hill Arts Club and Favela Chic, the band is ready to step into the European music scene.
