Description

Cinema is an art, which has only recently been developed in Cyprus. Still, the island has a group of dynamic directors whose films have been screened abroad.

During the course of his activities at the Nicosia Film Club and during film shootings, Panicos Chrysanthou got a number of photos. They express a private aspect in a search of the identity of Cyprus through its cinema face. Examples of this photographic work are being presented in a photo exhibition in the Peace Room at the end of Ledra Street in Nicosia. The title of the exhibition is “Cyprus, pictures of cinema”. Parallel to the exhibition there will be a series of screenings with Cypriot and European films.
