Description

On Monday, 26th November 2012 at 8.00 pm Goethe-Institut Cyprus in cooperation with the Embassy of Poland in Cyprus opens an exhibition of prize winning posters by polish born designer Prof. Lex Drewinski, who since 1992 holds a professorship at Potsdam University of Arts. Prof. Drewinski’s posters are dealing with up to date socio-political themes in a very reduced but impressive aesthetic way. Drewinskis posters are presented at all international poster design exhibitions and received numerous prizes since the eighties up till today.

Prof. Drewinski was invited to Cyprus by the Goethe-Institut to conduct various workshops with graphic design students at Frederick-University Nicosia.

Prof. Drewinski will be present at the opening reception at the Goethe-Institut on 26th November 2012 at 8.00 pm, which will be sponsored by the Embassy of Poland in Cyprus.
