Description

Andros Efstathiou presents his new photographic work entitled "Nicosia International Airport" at IsNotGallery in Nicosia.

The exhibition opens on Friday, July 20th at 20:00 and will remain open until the 30th of August. (The gallery will be closed from August 13th until August 21st).

The opening of the exhibition coincides with the anniversary of the Turkish invasion of 1974. As a result of the invasion the Nicosia Airport was abandoned and is now in the inaccessible dead zone that separates the free part of Cyprus from the part which is still occupied by the Turkish army.
