Description

The lecture will be presented by George Konstantinou founder of the "Association for the Protection of Biodiversity and Natural Heritage of Cyprus" and will begin with the emergence of Cyprus from the sea, the first flora and fauna to colonize the island. What animals and plants arrived and how? Fossils that have been discovered - and why they came to disappear. When the first humans arrived and what animals they brought with them, and finally the rare biodiversity of Cyprus today.
