Description

Wake Up Vasili (Ξύπνα Βασίλη) is a comedy by the famous modern Greek satirist and playwright Dimitris Psathas. The play became a movie in 1969 staring Giorgos Konstantinou.

Vasilis, who has conservative political beliefs, always quarrels with his colleague, who supports the left-wing party. His mother and his sister, who also supports the Left, come to Athens. Vasilis starts worrying. When his sister falls in love with his colleague and gets married, Vasilis’ objections intensify...
