Description

Ever since she can remember, Maria Panosian has been listening to music, playing the piano, and composing her own tunes. Having taken piano lessons for 11 years, she then singlehandedly learned how to play the guitar and percussion.

She has been singing professionally for over a decade, most notably acting as lead singer in Elelef, a Greek “folk-rock” band formed in 2005.

Elelef released their first album in 2007 and recorded an EP with four cover songs in 2010.
Deviating significantly from Elelef’s sound and instrumentation, "Patomata Vregmena" is Maria Panosian’s first solo electro-acoustic album, released by OnAir Music in 2011.

Maria Panosian works as a sound engineer at the Greek radio station “ Sto Kokkino 105.5 FM,” where she also hosts a radio show titled “what’s wrong is right,” airing each Friday at 22:30-00:00.'

She has extensive experience as a DJ, playing at popular music venues in Athens and Nicosia.

Additionally, Maria Panosian composes soundtracks for a range of musical websites, documentaries, and short films.
