The University of Cyprus is organizing a Science fiction Forum on Thursday, 5th of April at 17:00. The forum will take place at lecture hall B108 of the “Anastasios Leventis” building (University Campus, Aglantzia). The science fiction movie fans, cinema and theatre lovers and authors will surely enjoy this event.

The lectures are to be given in French with a simultaneous translation in Greek.

In such difficult era, the science – fiction as a literary genre, pictures future possibilities and prospects for the human kind.

Among the themes to be developed are the representations of aliens in sci-fi movies and novels, the sci – fi as a way of discovering who we really are and what our potentials are and also the capability of mind reading.

The forum is open to the public.
