Description

Movember is an international charity that we here at the St Georges University of London medical school at The University of Nicosia, are launching in Cyprus. It's where the men grow moustaches throughout the month of November to raise awareness and money for testicular and prostate cancer. (a little like the pink ribbon for women's breast cancer awareness). All donations will go towards cancer research here in Cyprus.

We have organised a Movember Charity Run in aid of prostate and testicular cancer and we would love for you all to come and join in! Please find the details below.

Everyone is welcome to participate! So bring your friends, family, children etc! (Children must be accompanied at all times)

There will also be photographers on site, so if you've grown a moustache and what to show it off, here's your chance!!


What's it called?
Movember Chairty Run

How far is it?
Approximately 5km

What do i have to do?
You can run, jog, walk, crawl, hop, jump, run backwards (not recommended), skip, sprint, dress up etc!

Why should I do it?
To raise awareness and money for testicular and prostate cancer, exercise is good for you, it's nice to get involved within the university community, show off your moustache!

When is it?
Sunday 20th November, 15:00 - 17:00 (Registration closes at 3:30)
