Description

Based on J.P Sartre’s No Exit and also on other existentialist texts, IN CAMERA is using this core to depict human hell through the continuous presence of consciousness, through the need of defining one’s self through the other.

Three actors, who never leave the stage, strongly declare their powerlessness to coexist under the gaze of others.

IN CAMERA started as a ten minute performance idea, which was designed for the needs of Inferno Watermill Benefit Gala at Watermill Center New York, summer of 2009. Ever since it has been evolving into a project, which was purposely designed for the specific stage of the B Municipal Market (Theatro Ena) in Limassol.
