Description

Arrangement based on Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute”

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with the Primary and Secondary education of the Ministry of Education and Culture organizes an educational programme for children between 9 and 15 years old. The programme includes 4 morning educational concerts for selected schools and a family afternoon concert for children and their parents.

The performances will take place under the music direction of Ayis Ioannides with soloists Margarita Elia (soprano) Vasilis Kavayias 9tenor) and Stavros Mantis (baritone) and the participation of children. The concert is based on the arrangement in Greek by Petros Evangelides. The stage direction is by Magdalena Zira, the choreography by Elena Christodoulidou, Ste designed by Yiorgos Tsangaris and Costumes by Christy Polydorou.

The family concert will take place at Strovolos Municipal Theatre, Nicosia on Saturday 12 November 2011 at 5pm. The entrance is free for the public. Free entrance vouchers will be available at the Strovolos Theatre box office from Wednesday 9.11.2011 (Tel. 22 313010).
