Description

Lia Voyiatzi presents "Anima" (Latin for "Soul"), an exhibition of her latest works.

The exhibition includes mostly paintings of large dimensions created mainly with charcoal and a selective use of color in the form of pastels.

Lia Voyiatzi was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1970. She studied fine arts in Rome, Italy. Member of EKATE (Cyprus chamber of Fine Arts of Cyprus), and also the bi-communal group Artists & Artists and the “Open Studios”. She lives and works in the old Nicosia participating in various events and exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad. Among others she has exhibited in Spain, France, Italy and Finland. She also founded an Art Studio, which aims to teach art education through lessons, seminars and art exhibitions. She is a current member of the committee of the Professional Fine Artists Union of Cyprus. Since the summer of 2007 she owns a studio in Paris (France) where she works a few months each year.


Recently renovated, the venue KAT'OIKON is located at the crossroad of Periκleous 47 and Arsinoes street, in the heart of old Nicosia, under the studio of the artist Lia Voyiatzi who along with the actor Sotos Stavrakis are the creators and Directors of the venue.
KAT'OIKON is available for painting and photography exhibitions,theatrical and music ensembles,performances and various business events and project presentations.
