Description
Open workshops within the Nicosia city walls.
The artists open their workshops (Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots and others) throughout Old Nicosia quarter from 27 to 30 October.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Nicosia Mayor Eleni Mavrou on Thursday 27 October at 19:00.
The purpose of the event is to promote the revival of the live cultural character of the Old Nicosia quarter through a contemporary artistic encounter between public and artists.

Organized with the support of the Nicosia Municipality and the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

THURSDAY 27/10/2011
19:00 - Opening ceremony at the “Peace Hall” (at the end of Ledra Street)
20:30-22:00 – Artists' studios open to the public.
FRIDAY 28/10/2011
18:00-22:00 - Artists' studios open to the public, as well as the Information Centre at the “Peace Hall”.
20:00 - Opening of Lias Boyiatzi exhibition at "KAT'OIKON” art space, Perikleous 47, Tel: 99586496.
SATURDAY 29/10/2011
09:00 – 15:00 – Information Centre at the “Peace Hall” will be open.
10:00-13:00 – Street-art creative show, a collaboration of the Open Studios artists, students from the Ayios Kassianos primary school and “Diavlos” Children's Museum of Art - at Ayios Kassianos school area.
18:00-22:00 - Artists' studios open to the public, as well as the Information Centre at the “Peace Hall”.
18:00-22:00 – DJ & multimedia show by the artist Savvas Koureas (AnexitiloN) at the “Peace Hall”

GUIDED TOURS
South Nicosia tours (studio numbers 1-14) Friday 28th, Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th at 18:00
North Nicosia tours (studio numbers 14-19) Friday 28th, Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th at 20:00
All tours begin promptly from the Information Centre “Peace Hall” on Ledra Street. There will be a short break for traditional snacks and refreshments at Zanettos Tavern.
