Description

A fine art presentation by Nicholas Panayi in cooperation with the Cyprus Alzheimer Association which forms part of the campaign for raising public awareness for Alzheimer disease.

Vladimiros Kafkarides Cultural Centre – Underground Space

The event is under the auspices of the Minister of Health Dr Stavros Malas.

On the occasion of the International Day dedicated to persons suffering from Alzheimer disease, fine artist Nicholas Panayi in cooperation with the Cyprus Alzheimer Association presents his fine art proposal:”Mother Memory” consisting of painting, photography, installations and video.

The artist has been experiencing within his immediate family for a long time now, the struggle of confronting Alzheimer’s disease that his mother is suffering from.

One of the purposes of the exhibition is to raise public awareness and sensitivity for Alzheimer disease, for those who suffer from the disease and for those taking care of patients.
