Description
A bouquet of performances which marked the theatrical course of the National Theater of Northern Greece since 1961, a celebration of ancient Greek tragedies and comedies, the Dionysia, will gloriously close the 15th International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama 2011. The text synthesis is signed by Kostas Georgousopoulos, the direction by Giannis Rigas and Grigoris Karantinakis. The National Theater of Northern Greece has been celebrating half a century of theatrical existence with the Dionysia this year, participating at the Athens’s Festival and traveling inside the collective memory through performances in Thasos, the Theater of the Forest, Epidaurus and now Cyprus.
Within the framework of the 15th International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama.
