Description

The Buzz Productions Theater will stage Medea, a performance based on narration and the use of the mask. Directed by Philippos Philippou, Medea is part of a systematic research and an experimental method which develops the narrative technique in theater. The Buzz Productions Theater was founded in 2003 by the actor and director Philippos Philippou with the aim of combining image, movement, music and visual elements in innovating performances. This drama is a masterly presentment of passion in its secret folds and recesses. The suffering and sensitiveness of injured love are strongly drawn, and with the utmost nicety of observation, passing from one stage to another, until they culminate in the awful deed of vengeance.

Within the framework of the 15th International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama.
