Description

The exhibition will be opened on Friday 19th of September at 7.30 pm by the Mayor of Larnaca Mr. Andreas Moyseos.

Iosif Hatzikyriakos was born in Larnaca in 1979. He studied painting at the Academy of Arts in Venice and History of Art at the University Ca 'Foscari of the same city.

He has exhibited his work in museums and galleries in Italy, Greece and Cyprus. Some of his projects are at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, the Art Gallery of Archbishop Makarios III Foundation, the Gallery of the Corfu Municipality, and in private collections in Europe.

In 2004 he won the Marc De Montalambert prize and in 2005 he exhibited his work, representing the Academy of Arts of Venice, at the 51st Venice Biennale.

Iosif Hatzikyriakos lives and works in Venice.
