Description

Stalo Panayides’ solo exhibition, entitled Seasons, will take place on April 9th 2011 at ResArt (68 Ay. Omologiton Ave.) at 19:00. Panayides’ creations revolve around the subjects of nature, seasons, some of which touch upon the destruction of the environment. Among the materials Panayides uses, are acrylics, inks, threads and stones, in different combinations and compositions in each of her works.

Stalo Panayides was born on the 14th of May 1987, in Nicosia. In 2010 she completed her studies in Graphic Communication at the University of Nicosia. The following projects of Panayides have been featured in exhibitions in Nicosia: “Preview Magazine” (2007), “Self Potraits” (2007), “Ways of Seeing” (2009), “Butterfly Effects” (2009), “7 Deadly Sins” (2009). Her work was published in “Ways of Seeing” of Steven Heller and Lita Talarico, New York, 2008.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday, April 9th 2011, at 19:00.

The exhibition will stay open until Monday, April 11th 2011.
