Dead Famous Productions announces its 11th Annual "Taste of New York" ToNY dance workshop with a glorious soundtrack! ‘ALL STAR YO!’ is ToNY’s soundtrack for 2011 written by the celebrated Creative Director for Music Candy and Dead Famous Productions, Yiorgos Bellapaisiotis. Yiorgos has recently written the theme music for CNN’s talk show ‘Piers Morgan Tonight.’ ...

ToNY is an exhilarating annual event, which has managed to transport New York’s heartbeats, buzz and enthusiasm into Cyprus for the last 10 years. The workshop offers young and professional dancers an exclusive experience to hone and master their dance skills with seven exceptional dance teachers from the best dance schools in New York (Broadway Dance Center, Dance New Amsterdam, steps on Broadway, Marymount Manhattan College, Montclair State University and Kent State University). The workshop is a dream come true to many Cypriots as it brings NY right to their home, showcasing the secrets of Broadway Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet and Modern Dance and leaving a distinct New York aftertaste in their souls! By participating in ToNY 2011, a number of dancers will be selected to participate in a musical that will take place in 2012.

Registrations are open to children aged 8 years old and above as well as professional dancers while special rates are applicable to registrations up to March 31, 2011. The workshops are supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture and will take place in Nicosia between 27 June-9 July.
