Description

Germany in 1989. The Berlin Wall has fallen and the whole country celebrates. Veit and Tom, two young friends from former Communist East Germany, start off for New York with only 100 German Mark in their pockets and with only one dream in their minds: to go to San Francisco and to find Veit’s father with the only English word they know: “Friendship”. Film director Mark Goller, well known for his comedy “Goodbye Lenin”, created a classical road movie abounding with humorous moments.
