Description

Many cultural events take place in the small Municipality of Lefkara all year round. Amongst them, the most important event is the Annual Festival of Lefkara, which is organised every year in August. Famous Cypriot and Greek artists participate, offering unforgettable evenings to visitors, while at the same time, the traditions and customs of the area come alive through folklore dances, songs and plays.

Opening Ceremony
"Cross Cultural European trip through music and Lefkara history"
Performing : Alex Panayi - Stavroula Valiande - Katerina Christofidou

Opening of the Traditional Lefkara Lace and Silver exhibition.
The exhibition will be open throughout the duration of Lefkara Festival

14th of August - 21.00
"A night at the tavern with Tsitsanis, Vamvakaris and Papaioannou"
Music and singing with live orchestra and artist from Lefkara

15th of August - 21.00
Annual Lefkara Dance
Dinner-dance with live music by Evdokia Kadi and her orchestra

16th of August
16.00 Bridge Club Competition
18.00 Fun Activities (magician, singing, dancing, face painting, games e.t.c.)
21.00 Dinner party for the Lefkara emigrants

17th of August - 20.30
Theater in Greek language by the Lefkara theater group

Outdoor Bar under the moon with the best music at the terrace of the Fatsa Wax Museum

All events will take place at yard of Lefkara Elementary school.

From 13-15 of August 20% discount will be granted to the visitors of the Fatsa wax museum
