Born in Cyprus, DJ De La Ioakim is first and foremost a music lover, a record collector, and of course a DJ.

Her DJing career started in the late 80's DJing at home, blending tapes of disco hits heard on the radio.

She then started DJing at friends parties as well as bars in Cyprus, only to find herself some years later playing in places like Mexico City, Paris, and East London's alternative Dalston scene (where she currently lives).

Her musical influences are deeply rooted in Jazz, Funk and Disco as well as a dose of 50's and 60's sounds, fused with electro.
DJ De La Ioakim is known for her eclectic musical selections. She plays across different musical genres and different tempos, her first goal being to share her musical discoveries and make people move to the grove!

She has an appetite for new music and for mixing the 'un-mixable'.
