Culture in Action and the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts of the Cyprus University of Technology are organizing the first poster exhibition for graphic designers in Cyprus.

32 professional graphic designers have been called to create their own poster related to the European year for 'Combating Social Exclusion and Poverty'. The main purpose of the exhibition is to provide the local artists with the opportunity to exhibit and promote their work and create networking channels with other artists and funding bodies. The exhibition will take place at 'Kastelliotissa' in Nicosia between the 1st and 4th of November and at 'Palio Xydadiko' in Limassol between the 26th and 30th of November.

The opening will be held on Monday 1st November at 8:30am by the Minister of Education and Culture, Mr Andreas Demetriou.
