Description

European initiative for researchers which is organised every year simultaneously across over 200 cities in Europe. The Event is open to public of all ages. In Cyprus it is organised for the fifth consecutive year by the Research Promotion Foundation (RPF) in collaboration with the Municipality of Limassol and under the auspices of the Mayor, as well as with the Cyprus University of Technology, the University of Cyprus, the European University of Cyprus, Frederick University, University of Nicosia, the Agricultural Research Institute, the Cyprus Institute and the Cyprus Institute for Neurology and Genetics. During the Event the visitors will have the opportunity to be informed by active researchers about their ongoing work and initiatives in various scientific and research fields, as well as to participate in prepared activities. The main goals are to reinforce the public image of the research community and to underline its important role in the progress of society as a whole, as well as to attract young generations to follow research careers.
