Description
Groups from eleven Mediterranean countries participate at this folklore dance festival that is organized in Larnaka for the 5th consecutive year. The fifteen troupes that participate this year are from: Greece, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Portugal, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Russia, Slovenia, Armenia and Cyprus.

7:00p.m Parade of the Folklore troupes, Police Station along Athinon avenue, to the sea front stage – Foinikoudes Larnaca.
8:00p.m Opening Ceremony – Sea Front Stage, Foinikoudes Larnaca:
- Address by President of the Cultural Heritage Association of Nicosia, Mrs Rea Madella Ioannidou
- Address by the Director of Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education Dr Pavlos Paraskeva
- Address by the Mayor of Larnaca, Mr Andreas Moiseos
