Description

The Embassy of Switzerland participates in the 15th Francophone Film Festival in Cyprus with "Ceux qui travaillent". Winner of Swiss Film Awards 2019 for Best Fiction Film, Best Screenplay & Best Performance in a Supporting Role.

Frank devotes his life to work. Hanging on his phone, he manages the cargo ships he charters for large companies. While facing a crisis situation, Frank makes a brutal decision and gets fired. Deeply shaken, betrayed by a system to which he has given everything, he does some soul-searching to save the only link that still counts in his eyes: the one he managed to maintain with his youngest daughter, Mathilde.
