This play was written ... for a great, true love. Evagoras Pallikarides' true love for Lia Hadjiadamou that defined him as a human being but was never fulfilled, and the hero’s great, true love for freedom that led him to immortality.

Evagoras Pallikarides's noble actions and poetic work unfold before us, revealing to us the value of love when it signifies our existence, in its physical and spiritual dimension. In defense of his absolute love for freedom, he gives life to everything he has loved through his sacrifice. Greece, Love, Freedom refuged him to eternity, teaching us that our ultimate goal should not be to beat death but to win life!
