Description

Centre of Performing Arts MITOS organizes the premiere of its new production, "Antigone of Sophocles", a chamber tragedy, directed by Elena Agathokleous.

"Antigone" by MITOS, does not focus on the superiority of divine law over humanity, but on the need to listen to one another, to study the others’ view, as no one is ever right in himself (p. 707). It is a political debate, a public debate on the laws of the city, which will take place in art venues in Limassol and Nicosia. The production is funded by the Cyprus Theater Organization, program THYMELI.
