Description

A selection of songs from the debut album of the Berlin-based Cypriot classical pianist and choir leader, Eleni Era. With background in classical music and influences from the best singer-songwriters of today, Eleni creates a mesmerising atmosphere in her live performances, often layering her voice on a loop station to create a choir-like effect, always accompanying herself on the piano. Backing her up are her long-time friends and fellow artists, Lefteris Moumtzis (Freedom Candlemaker) on the guitar, backing vocals and synths, and Andreas Trachonitis on the drums and samples.
