On Tuesday the 29th of January Arianna Economou invites her colleagues and anyone interested to discuss, share and analyse the inner processes in these the series of performances under the title “Home as a Journey”.

Performance and presentation of the creative process and methods of choreοgraphic composition that led to a series of five different site related performances under the same title “Home as Journey” and presented at 3 different venues: Kaimakli, Dancehouse Lefkosia and Kastelliotissa between 12th of October – 16st of November 2018 - Each performance in each different space though different from each other shared a common denominator as to the structure and thematics involved, but leading each time to a different choreographic work in the way the material was braided together. The choice of the venues for the performances, had to do with the choice of choreographic works to constitute this journey and to the place (site) and time these were made on. The material of each work used from the past had been de-constructed each time, so as to reconstruct the Journey within the Present Moment within the themes of Homing. The work as a way of journeying and the soul in the body, in the creative journey of a dialogue of the Body – Mind.

All the works selected that constitute material for the present performances come from the Body of Solo Works by the choreographer – artist, dating as far back as 1989 with “ Body and Landscape: Inner Maps – Haikus”.

The presentation will be through photos, videos and existing notes and reading of related performance Texts.
