Opus 39 Gallery presents the new collection of creations in clay by Varvara Georgiou, Vassos Demetriou, Christina Constantinou Giusti, Celia Potoudis Macpherson and Maria Mina.

Recently there has been a revolution in the art world which has seen the explosion of the distinction between art and craft and elevated ceramics into the world of high art. In our world of commercial mass production, hand made objects have added meaning and resonance. Made of the earth, ceramic objects have an innate authenticity that other mediums lack. This exhibition by 5 very different artists highlights the creativity and variety that clay offers.
