On May 23, the young musicians of HGM Jazz Orchestra – Croatia and the members of Epilogi Children’s Choir – Limassol will fill the stage at Axiothea Mansion with their smiles and their talent. The two music ensembles, each of which has had a remarkable international presence, will meet onstage for a musical dialogue, which will certainly excite jazz aficionados. The HGM Jazz Orchestra, which operates under the auspices of Jeunesses Musicales – Croatia and brings together the younger generation of jazz musicians from the broad Eastern European region, will present under the baton of distinguished maestro and composer Sigi Feigl from Austria, an intriguing selection of pieces composed for a full twenty-member jazz orchestra, while the acclaimed Children’s Choir of Epilogi Cultural Movement, led by the well-known maestro Angelina Nikolaidou-Spanou, will perform the twenty-minute work “Little Jazz Mass” by Bob Chilcott.
