Singer-songwriter from Russia with a dark, velvety voice, her manner deeply intimate and moving, Tanya Balakirskaya sings her songs in Russian, Ukrainian and English. She draws inspiration from folk songs, American free verse, Slavic poetry and – personal spiritual insights.
