Description

Within the context of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, 12 local artists have been commissioned to reinterpret Cypriot terracotta amphorae in their own unique styles.

The exhibition will be officially opened by Androulla Vassiliou, Vice-President of Europa Nostra, the leading citizens' movement to protect and celebrate Europe's cultural and natural heritage.

The terracotta amphorae were made on the wheel by Cypriot ceramicist Nikos Katelaris.

Visitors are requested to show ID/passport/driving license in order to enter the exhibition.
