The theater group "FOSITHI" presents the successful cypriot comedy of Kristia Pandeli "You will become my mother-in-law even though you are stubborn!".

PLOT
The play is centered around the life of a rural family in Cyprus at the beginning of the 20th century including the loud mother Pandelou, the passionate father Mihailos, their daughters: the dreamer Christinou and the dynamic Rhodou as well as their son, the restless and greedy Neoclis. Their everyday life is disturbed when their daughters decide to choose their own grooms against the time of the era and those are the sensitive Yiorkis and the fearless Andrikos. However, things get even more complicated with the arrival of Mrs. Debbie from Australia.

The show takes you back in time, taking a look at the traditions and customs of Cyprus. It was written and directed in respect with the Cypriot tradition and the Cypriot dialect and the ultimate aim is to revive and promote the Cypriot culture emphasizing in the authenticity of the people as well as in the very close family values and the social morals of that time manifesting some of the cultural wealth of Cyprus.
