Danae sang almost all the composers of the time (in Greece), from Haropoulos to Giannidis, but she singled out as a performer of Attik and her singular velvety voice was identified with his great songs: "As erhosun gia ligo", "Organaki" "Maramena ta yioulia", "Tis mias drahmis ta yiasemia". During the Occupation in Greecemrades, organized syringes, sang in hospitals. She has written more than 300 songs, many in her own lyr (WWII), she developed a remarkable action in 'resistance' movement, which led her to imprisonment. She joined EAM (a movement struggling for the freedom of Greece), provided shelter for her coics and many books, and she has also been involved with translations.
