Description
Fengaros Music Village is held for the fifth year at the village of Kato Drys in the Larnaca district and consists of ten music and storytelling workshops, one architecture workshop and an artist residency. Artists from Cyprus, Greece and England will coordinate the workshops, proposing alternative methods of learning and creating.
The workshops will take place daily during the morning and afternoon hours, while the evening concerts and presentations, which are open to the public, will complete the daily schedule.

● Martha Mavroidi - The Happy Hour Choir Vol.2: a workshop for the human voice
● Giorgos Kalogirou - Creative writing workshop - “Place - Lyric - Sound”
● Charis Ioannou - Jazz music Workshop
● Ermis Michail - Modern Guitar Vol.3
● Michael Kapilidis - Odd time signatures: Greek and Balkan rhythms for the drumset
● Marios Takoushis - Music for the moving image
● Lefteris Moumtzis - The musician’s mentality
● Architecture Workshop - xssummer workshop IV
● Dave De Rose - Artist Residency
Goals of Fengaros Music Village:
● The implementation of educational, interactive workshops, instructed by artists of international caliber in the areas of modern and traditional creation. The themed sections of each workshop intend to approach the arts in a broad, yet effective way, whilst concentrating on original and innovative aspects of artistic development.
● The encouragement of both organised and spontaneous performances executed by students and instructors.
● The productive exchange of ideas and experiences between artists, students and participants of varied backgrounds.
● The creation of a long-lasting hybrid, artistic community, characterised by solidarity, both in the field of collective creativity and in the production / distribution of artistic work.

General Information
Each Workshop Duration:
Around 30 hours, morning and afternoon sessions.
Cost of Participation:
€175 - Full-time participation in one workshop
€215 - Full-time participation in one workshop and five lunch meals from the restaurant “The House of the Wind”.
** For all registrations paid before the 21st of May, a personal three-day invitation to Fengaros Festival will be included.
