Description

Marios Ioannou presents at Artos Foundation Theatre Tribe, Nicosia Group in a devised theatre performance titled ”THE AUDITION”. The play is a collaboration of Marios and a group of actors who took part at the six month acting workshop he taught at the Studio of Arianna Economou in Kaimakli.

Through ongoing scenes from an audition the piece sheds light upon the agony of actors who often wander to auditions which are sometimes meaningless ,the thin Line that separates real life from the stage life and the greatness of the Art of Acting .

Throughout the performance audience will have the chance to enjoy pieces from Sofocles, Aristofanis, Anton Chekov, Tenessee Wiliams ,Bertolt Brecht , Kostas Mourselas and Jean Pierre -Simeon.
