Description

"The soul is the entelechy of a natural body having life potentially within it"

The pithy words of Aristotle, suspended in the endless and perdurable universe, radiates and merges with the main body of the documentary titled “ENTELECHY” by Cypriot director/producer Stavros Papageorghiou. An inductive 20-year voyage of the director through the labyrinths of archaeo-astronomy*, geodesy and philosophy, with navigator and fellow-traveller Cypriot researcher and artist Goris Gregoriades.

When, in 1990, Goris shared with Stavros his archaeo-astronomical research concerning ancient holy sites in Cyprus, the director realized that here was information worthy of being recorded in a documentary.
