Description

Rita Antonopoulou meets on stage with pianist Thodoris Economou, one of the most prominent young Greek composers of theatre and cinema music. Images of tenderness, where delicate melodies by Manos Hadjidakis alternate with rock ballads by Y.Angelakas and P.Pavlides, accompanied by a piano and an inner, immersive power. A musical synergy combining the work of Thanos Mikroutsikos, Leonard Cohen, Edith’s Piaf melodic chansons, Thanasis’ Papaconstantinou lyrics, Mikis’ Theodorakis grandeur and Stamatis’ Kraounakis familiar style, as well as songs by upcoming artists and composers.
