Description

"In Between. Austria Contemporary" is a show that gives an insight into the creative talent of more than forty ´up and coming´ Austrian artists. The works of these young artists cross the boundaries between high art and popular culture, between art and everyday life.

The official opening of the this show will take place on March 3rd, at 7:30 pm at "Old Pallouriotissa Market Hall" (Tel.:22877860). The Austrian Minister for Education, Arts and Culture, Ms. Claudia Schmied, as well as Dr. Andreas Demetriou, Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus, will be present.

This will be a unique chance to enjoy works of art from a generation that - while Austrian at heart - moves around the globe with ease. Apart from ´pure artistic inspiration´, you will also have a chance to enjoy a good glass of - mostly Austrian -wine!
