Description

The Animattikon Project is a festival of short animation films organised by the European Capital of Culture. It aims to become established as an annual event, celebrating the art of animation. The festival will be combined with an animation workshop for children that will be organised by the Animasyros International Animation Festival, which is an official collaborator and co-producer of the Animattikon Project.

During the 3-day event, the official selection of films submitted to the Animattikon Project made in its first year will be presented. Films from the official selection of this year’s Animasyros International Animation Festival will also be screened.

The screenings will be hosted at the Attikon cinema, a point of reference in Pafos for people of all ages, generating thus a sense of unity for citizens. Charalambos Margaritis is the curator of the programme.
