Description

Often described as “the voice of Mikis Theodorakis from the younger generation”, Betty Harlafti, together with pianist Yannis Belonis, in collaboration with Emmeleia Choir, conducted by Eleni Kyprianou present a concert - tribute to the great composer. Both artists have been close collaborators of the composer and his Orchestra during the past years, showcasing his work in Greece, Europe and the US. Their CD, including songs by the composer, was recently launched, and was recorded in collaboration with ERT’s Contemporary Music Orchestra. This time, they join forces with acclaimed Emmeleia Choir, possessing deep knowledge of the composer’s work.
