Description

An installation that will become a reference point in the restored Ibrahim’s Khan. Inspired by the importance the Khan used to have for decades, as a centre for socialising and trading, artists and academics Anthony Heywood and Uwe Derksen set up the Table using wood and messages collected from different places and from neighbouring countries. The design of the installation started in 2015, setting the mark of the Capital of Culture and its legacy for the future. With the participation of volunteers, as well as the collaboration of the Pafos Technical School and the Carpentry and Furniture Making Department, coordinated by Andreas Stefanou and Stefanos Savva.
