Description

The Beauty Of Silence primarily aims to educate and illustrate the importance of nonverbal communication and diversity. We will begin our journey at the EUC Cultural Center by viewing a restored high definition version of Charlie Chaplins "The Immigrant", an 1917 masterpiece that is still relevant today, showcasing the importance of non-verbal communication. Followed by the Art of Pantomime, a short illustration of emotions though pantomime.

We will then transition to the Lobby to view the exquisite exhibition "Island in the Sun" The audio-visual installation by Maren Wickwire and Melissa Hekkers attempts to mediate the fragmented life experiences of migrants, thus propagating new interpretations and perspectives on the global movement of people through the lens of Cyprus.
