Description

The idea for Femlink, an international vidéo-collage, was born between two artists, Véronique Sapin (France) and C.M. Judge (USA) in January 2005.

The video collage project builds a link throughout the world between women video artists and their work. The structure is simple: one artist from each country will create a one to two minute video around a common theme. As videos are collected for the project they are added to the collage sequentially as they are received without regard to content. We value each artist's creative response and respect the many diverse interpretations of our first theme: FRAGILITY.

Women artists from 23 countries participated in the 2009 project with the theme “Male / Homme” and the result will be presented in Nicosia and Limassol this February.
